Dowanit really matter? The point is it puts control of the printer in Bambi labs hands, should they decide to they can just stop your printer and brick it.

My xbox would be the same.
And so would my phone.
Heck, I have a first Gen Oculus Vr headset. Its been shut off of updates and can’t do anything really so it’s the same.
That’s not a me problem, thats companies being absolute dicks.
