bran_buckler@lemmy.world 4 days agoI’m glad you got your taste back! One time I had chewed cinnamon gum all day and I guess inadvertently burned my taste buds. I couldn’t taste anything for a month or two!

Oh speaking of burning, having raw onions kinda burns my tongue but i can taste things more afterwards. The onion probably cleaned my tongue microbiome so i have a stronger ability to taste.
