- Comment on LG joins Sony and TCL in abandoning 8K TV market 2 days ago:
actually true, there are people with above 20/20 vision and 8k tv would be like us going from 1080p to 4k to them. We should upgrade everyone’s vision to beyond 20/20 that would be a net benefit for everyone! Then we can all enjoy 8k tv. But honestly as a glasses wearer, the main benefit of 8k tvs are that you can go up to the tv to see way more details. It’s quite amazing and underrated, if you do the same to a same size 4k tv you can notice the pixels like a 1080p tv.
- Comment on If cannibalism were the norm and human meat was freely available in grocery stores, there would surely be people who prefered to eat only the meat of people of their own ethnicity or only women's meat 6 days ago:
99% of animal meat we eat are already female or basically young children otherwise it’s too meaty and tough. Same for predator animals, they hunt young animals, that’s why wild dogs, pumas, coyotes go for children and you cannot let your child roam without adult supervision in some areas

It really depends, you can be bad a prompting and waste time generating and reviewing or learn to be able to say what you want produced. It’s like being a director or manager, you need to lay out what you expect your team to accomplish, give guidance.

Start coding and learn prompts engineering and workflows, be the manager and not the workhorse. You can inpaint you can Photoshop, you can still write or be an editor, review copy etc.
