I’ve no idea what that latter sentence was supposed to mean, but here’s an unpaywalled version for you.
KYS stands for kill yourself. Unless there’s another acronym that means something else I’m pretty sure that commenter is just being mean.
Ah, yes - forgot about that one. I’m old enough to remember when KYs were something else entirely.
