Yes, that’s correct The user defines them after they find them and puts them at the top (actually anywhere, lol) in my dream scenario. Tags with general links to communities would be a great way to find new ones too.

also I think having tags for users would be a good idea, for example in niche communities that revolves around science, medical having a tag like “verified doctor” or “verified scientist” put a lot of weight for them while having conversations.
