The weirdest one for me was getting blasted one day with HUNDREDS of notifications and it was some random dude who made his own instance that I never even saw before, pre-emptively banning me (and a bunch of other users from various origins on Lemmy) for “warmongering advocate of violence.”
I guess someone was a bit sensitive about my stance on punching nazis in the face.
what’s funny is I bet this was that link guy, not linkerbaan but the other Zelda themed Link guy.
I remember it happening to me, he was just a real right wing tankie guy who spammed content to overtake feeds and banned any dissenting opinions / comments
