@GramrgednAngel @bookstodon agreed. That was an excellent book by Kylie Lee Baker. Have you read her new one, yet? I have heard good things.
Comment on I've got one more (short) horror book to read before Halloween. Have you

@kimlockhartga @bookstodon I'll add Bat Eater and Other Names for Cora Zheng, Kylie Lee Baker.
Also anything from the classic writers like Poe, Blackwood, Hodgson . . .

@GramrgednAngel @bookstodon oh, and sorry, I don't know who Blackwood or Hodgson are? I couldn't locate them on my app without first names. Poe, of course, we know. The Masque of the Red Death remains one of my favorites.
@kimlockhartga @GramrgednAngel @bookstodon I'm guessing Algernon Blackwood and William Hope Hodgson?
@johncomic @GramrgednAngel @bookstodon I'd never heard of either.
@kimlockhartga @johncomic @GramrgednAngel @bookstodon Algernon Blackwood has some good stories. Folks usu mention The Wendigo, but The Man Whom the Trees Loved is quietly affecting. https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/11377
