Comment on what’s the difference between “he died” and “he’s dead”?

While they both have the same meaning; he died implies knowledge of the death before, he’s dead fits more when you’ve just figured out that the person in question is dead.

Yes, I think.
Although, if I shoot you, and you’re clinically dead, but the EMTs arrive just in time with those Shocker Pads of Cure Serious Wounds and patch you up with 3d8 hp… Did I kill you?
