A free user viewing an ad is profitable though, so I would say that’s what the other streaming services get wrong, there is no free option even though their lowest option usually has ads m.

Interesting chart. Note that this is eyeballs, not profits or subscriber numbers. YouTube is free. All of the other services are paid, even with ads.
I’m wondering where other free services are in this list. It’s missing Tubi and Pluto.
Also there’s no WBD channel. It should be listing out HBO/Max. And where is Hulu on this list?

I would probably pay for Youtube if they stopped sabotaging their own platform and making it worse (e.g. adding shorts, releasing those horrible Rewind videos, preventing playlists with “content made for kids” (e.g. every music video of a song from some Disney movie), mixing in unrelated content into the search results,…).

While I agree, in terms of actual streaming performance and the player, you tube hasn’t made that worse yet and I hope they never do.
YouTube is very impressive from a technical perspective, regardless of the user experience.
