Comment on Lemmy feels less anonymous than Reddit, because there are less users and its easier to be remembered. Similar to a small town where everyone knows each other.

You just made me realize that my client only shows plaintext usernsmes now as well. Now I’m wondering what username was 👁👄👁 … it always made me uncomfortable seeing it, dunno why
