Yeah, a second look at the men in the background in that one shows the usual AI fuckery. The other one’s pretty dang good, though in comparison

I was actually thinking the exact opposite. Interesting to me though, is that we both see the subtleties which makes it look like AI. I can’t point it out exactly (like too many fingers or something), but it’s like the contours of their faces are off? Or something uncanny, at the least. I feel like photoshop could do it better (though not nearly as fast)

Nurse here: we ask ‘orientation’ questions as part of our assessment
I had a younger patient going through the straights with hallucinations (newly diagnosed schizophrenia)… and I had been asking the same questions (as we do) a lot
So I asked them once again, “Do you know why you’re in the hospital?”. Their response: “Deez nuts!”
I always appreciate a good “Deez nuts” joke, but that one has been my favorite so far. The volition on their face and the shitty smirk; they’re completely tied down with a guard because they would occasionally be violent… but hot damn, that was a zinger.
I counted their response as oriented—they know what they did lol

A little incest, a little beastiality; but who’s counting? I guess not the ones who believe that… because, ya know… they can’t count.

I work night shifts. My manager one time called me around 2pm to ask me something menial and waking me up (as I was still sleeping for my next shift at 7pm).
So naturally, I called him at 2AM when I was at work… because I had an “urgent” question about a work policy lol. He got the picture, and that shit never happened again

Sorry sorry, trying to be sarcastic-mean, not actually mean. Just wanted to rib poke for a second, but not at the expense of a person I don’t know. I truly like seeing your activity around here; couldn’t help myself though. Ya dick
I’m not great at sarcasm lol. I only wish the best for you, ya random squid 🐙

a metaphoric adjective describing situations where it is not clear which of two events should be considered the cause and which should be considered the effect
I guess the overtones are a product of their times. Currently, it seems to be: is science/religion the “cause” or “effect”.
I always staked claim that it was a “scientific vs philosophical” question; but I never considered how timeline could change the overtones or underlying thinking of “The chicken and the egg” concept. Neat

Went to check out the “Mr and Mrs Smith” series on Prime (with Donald Glover), and was notified that there would be ads now unless I upgraded. I almost never watch anything on Prime, but figured “why not, I already have it”… and then immediately closed it when I saw that message. Switched back over to Stremio, cause why the fuck would I watch ads when I already pay for the service? Gotta convince the wife to cancel Prime, but it’s next on the chopping block. Only ones left will be youtube music (family still uses it) and Debrid (which will stay for as long as it’s good). Netflix, Hulu, Disney, ESPN, HBO… all of them gone

They’re mildly venomous, but not enough to harm humans. And they really go out of their way to not bite when threatened.

As a smoker: I’m not clueless, I just don’t love myself more than the addiction. But I’m getting there, cause breathing “easily” is an under-rated pleasure, when compared to… not breathing that well
It can take time to break the mental stuff before breaking the habit, regardless of understood risk
Now magnets though… I’m at a complete fucking loss

And your contribution is notably worse, as well as toxic, imo. Rehashing the same rhetoric about how forums are similar, no matter where you go online… maybe you spent too much time on reddit yourself, or on forums in general. I hate the statement “go touch grass”, but you’re literally breathing life into it right now.
At least they contributed something I enjoyed reading. Don’t be a jerk

They still have a bit of an “angry brow” and they are technically venomous… but I’ll be damned if they ain’t cute. One of the few snakes that make me feel compelled to snuggle them

The first one, I would be wary because of the colors. I’d rather run from a corn snake than be bitten by a copperhead. When I see color like that, I’m taking a step back regardless, before I even have time to look at it’s face/head
The second one… also gonna be wary of any swimming snake. Could be mostly harmless, or it could be a cotton mouth; but I’m not gonna check it out closely enough, before backing up
But I see your point either way. You can’t rely on just one factor for identification. The snake in OP’s video isn’t a threat to me, so it’s easier to observe.
I guess what I’m kinda saying, is that it helps to know a quick distinction between venomous/non-venomous. It might not be perfect for identification, but it helps the knee-jerk fear of thinking “the only good snake is a dead snake”. It at least helped me reduce my own fear, when I moved to a place where venomous snakes are much more probable.
It doesn’t keep me from reacting, but it definitely helps me from over-reacting
