makyo@lemmy.world 3 days agoMy childhood home was like that too. We only ever went in the garage door on the side of the house so the front door felt foreign to me and the few times we used it felt weird.

We also just go in through the garage. Either via car or through the door at the back. The only people using the actual main door are guests.
