IIRC there are usually at least two different teams working simultaneously on different episodes, so that a team has roughly two weeks to work on an episode.
I do appreciate Romelia bringing her maid with her, which somewhat gives some motivation for Romelia to explain anything, lol.
Only 2 weeks for a whole episode? I thought they were all prepared in advance

I remember reading one time on sakugablog that the average anime takes about 3 years from start to finish to make. However, there are many, many examples of deadlines being missed for episodes or a final cut being turned in literally at the last minute. Often the show is mostly done by the time the first episode airs, but there is usually some work still ongoing for future episodes as it is airing.

Pssst. Yeah, you. Come here. Not so loud. Can I interest you in some Shirobako?
I mean, sure? How much?
