I’ll never understand why this is a divisive issue… let people live however they want, unless they bother others. How does it bother me if someone wants do get rid of their dick? Stop interfering in people’s lives.

Well, that’s the thing. So many people are bothered when someone does something they wouldn’t personally do, often because they were told their whole life that there is only one proper way to exist.
“…unless they are harming someone else.” though, that is a pretty solid criteria.
Deliberately used as the “enemy” by the fascist state as scapegoat and distraction. Queer people were also targeted by Nazis.

Indeed, a lot of the UK transphobic stuff that is happening right now is based off this conspiracy theory, trans women are no longer considered equal to cis women because of this
