Art requires comviction and purpose and they literally say they were inspired by game items.
If they are keeping their “art” at arms length to avoid making to loud of a statement in it, then I am well within my right to call it lame.

I could draw genterbent sonic bukake with broken restuarant crayons and it would still be art.
In a way, even the act of gatekeeping art is kind of a performance piece. You, my friend, are an artist.
