There are 8 billion people in the world. Half of those are dumber than the other half. It makes sense that a few of those would succumb to quackery. That’s what makes snake oil so valuable!
I’m reading this after just finishing a video about asteroid hunters getting chased off by tribal villagers who thought the space rock full of arsenic seeping into their ground water was actually a curse and wouldn’t let them remove the rock poisoning their ground water in case they made god mad.
