andros_rex@lemmy.world 11 months agoIsn’t this movie consider like the progenitor of furries? Like yeah, anthropomorphic animals have always been a thing but there’s something about this movie that made it an obsessive thing?
Sorta like how Pulp Fiction invented “gimps”….

For me it was mostly Charlie from All Dogs Go to Heaven, but yeah Disney’s Robin Hood was also a factor!
