I commented on this myself earlier. Doing the extra shipping and bare minimum to count as a transformative step to create a new product will increase the cost of the good relative to where it is today, so there’s still an impact, but for virtually all products, it’s going to be far less than the 145% increase that tariffs would impose on a directly-shipped-from-China product.
