wjs018@ani.social 6 days agoThere is a dedicated gunpla community on lemmy.world, and it is relatively active. The most active general gundam community was on an instance that shut down in January. So, we have tried to reform it over at !gundam@ani.social instead. Though, discoverability is tough on the fediverse, and migrating communities never goes terribly smoothly.

It’s funny you mention that, I just saw the post in the Gunpla community.
Though I also mean more in-general. I know Gunpla has had a stable and growing fanbase, but I feel like I used to see more “open” spaces where you had car kit builders rubbing elbows with TF Kitbashers, and everyone in between.
