the gimmick of her wanting to clock out on time
I feel like they could have done so much more with this. It was what, episode 2 before basically all the main characters knew that Alina was The Executioner? The whole keeping her identity a secret while still knocking out bosses to save herself work I think had a lot of potential. However, it was abandoned almost immediately with the one exception of her fellow receptionist crushing on her doll.

This is not an isekai. At least they managed to fabricate a fantasy setting without trying to pack that trope also.

Oh yeah, you’re right. Generic fantasy and generic isekai have a lot of overlap, so sometimes they’re the same thing to me
