Yeah I get that, but it’s a good gateway drug into actually appreciating punk. You start with “skinhead punk” because they kind of have this reputation that you’re curious about. And suddenly you find that you like punk.

No it isn’t. Pop punk is a good gateway. Nazi skinhead punk is nazi propaganda.

Nah, pop punk is something completely different. You’re talking about shit like “greenday” and “sum41”, which are great in their field, but that hasn’t got very much I’m common with the raw punk energy I’m looking for here.
