No… Lemmy users and internet people in general are attacking this reformation of Digg acting like Alexis Ohanian continues to be a piece of shit.

I have a hard time thinking that after a long-term relationship with Serena Williams that Ohanian is so out of touch and unable to produce something good. Like I said I am cautiously optimistic

Ohanian just joined alongside Project Liberty (no relation to the weirdo right-wing grift with the same name, from what I can tell) to help buy out TikTok.

His actions seem to be mostly in line with those in favor of consumers. I, too, am cautiously optimistic.

  Kevin Rose and Alexis Ohanian bought Digg together. They are relaunching it together. I am saying people are attacking the new Digg without considering that maybe, just maybe, Ohanian could be a good steward of a new social media site. I am willing to wait and see, I think he could potentially do good works in this space
