      And you know, there are plenty of people who got rich without being born rich as well. Takes skills. Be mad all you want, but it’s true.

      And no, you don’t deserve any of their money and it’s anyone’s right to be a millionaire or billionaire if they wanna be. No one is going to eat the rich, no matter how much Lemmy wants that to happen. There will be no revolution against rich people. lmao

        I don’t know how much he was born with, but if you have enough money to buy successful companies, then that’s a good strategy. It’s not rocket surgery though and not an option for too many. Self made people are admirable but I wouldn’t put Musk in that category. Billionaires have certainly profited from the labor of many exploited people. I suppose that is a skill but one that harms others.

    Well he definitely didn’t design EVs, rockets, or brain interface technology. The engineers he employs did. He just took their work, sold it, then gave them a slice of the pie and kept the rest.

        He steals his employees labor to make himself rich. That’s the shameful part. It’s plainly obvious him and all other billionaires do that.

        I genuinely don’t care if someone is more successful than me. I’m successful myself. That only means they can live a good life, which I want for everyone. I’m only concerned with being better than I was yesterday, not getting a dopamine hit from trolling.

      That’d be sweet. But I’m retired and I travel and have fun plenty on my own, even tho I’m not rich. So I’ll be just fine. I don’t have to work for the rest of my life.
