FWIW, I think the term “echo-chamber” is way overused
Fair point! I agree with all your points made.

Thank you for supporting this, even tho it goes against the wave of Lemmy. I’ll be switching to you to be my main instance. I am loving the vibe there. You guys are awesome!

The more posts I see from you, the more I respect you! I know you went through some rough hits and pushback.
Unfortunately I am seeing your home instance, lemm.ee being part of this push against opposing opinions lately.
I am liking the vibe of hilarious chaos a lot. I’m switching to it as my main instance.

Me too!

Then block them. They don’t have to be banned though.
- Comment on Conservative Discussions 11 hours ago:
I think more people should follow your example, to be honest.
I prefer people block them, rather than calling for them to be banned. Conservatives have just as much of a right to be here as liberals.
- Comment on Conservative Discussions 11 hours ago:
Because Lemmy very much wants an echo-chamber. Even tho many say they left Reddit to get out of echo-chambers.
I’ve seen lots of posts saying variations of, “I don’t think the Fediverse should allow conservative communites.” lol

Sure, but he had 4 years to find waste like this, and he didn’t. That’s my point.

Seems to me that if Breitbart news were just making this up and lying; that in itself would be a good news story for other media.
But I don’t see any news orgs denying these figures or accusing Breitbart of lying.

So you don’t think it’s true?

They just don’t want the audit.
That’s exactly it. I hope there is one and I hope names are named. lol

Biden can help us find it!

democrats seemed pretty cool with it too. Biden was in office for last 4 years, brah.
- Comment on Roughly 75,000 federal employees agree to Trump’s buyout offer 4 days ago:
I have first hand knowledge. I was fed employee for 5 years. State employee for 15 years. Some people legit would be in the office for a meeting, then go home. This was pre-covid, so WFH wasn’t a thing. And they def weren’t working.
Where I was at, it was pretty much known that all of the people who had been there over 10 years just skated through after that.
It all allowed me to retire early, so I can’t complain too much. But the fuck-offs I encountered there definitely have inspired my voting choices. Also, the fucking staff meetings were ridiculous. The literally had a meeting over everything rather than just email it.
I’m happy to see them purged.

All that happened before Trump took office. You think this just started in the last month or so?! lmao
Were you this angry when Biden was in office and did nothing to help you?
