Empathy is the fucking backbone of civilization. I know all this post is nonsense but that just needs to be said. If you can’t feel for your fellow human the rest of us might indeed just be better off with you shitting in the woods by yourself. The state of the world is evident to that fact as megalomaniacs, conmen, and authoritarians surge across the world.
