  I think the main issue here is that not every group that provides free scanlations has the technical know-how (or the interest) to tackle the issue. They see the easy and open platform of sites like MD or Bato, and use it to upload to a bigger user base.

  I don’t necessarily after nor disagree with this, but after 30 years in IT I am not surprised at all.

    I’m extremely aware of this. But I’m still too financially destitute to even tackle a simple manga format. May our influence reach further readers than just the technological illiterate.
