Comment on [Opinion] If Hideo Kojima Games Aren't Safe, No Games Are Safe - Aftermath (Luke Plunkett)

Counterpoint: development of Physint was dropped because it missed multiple development milestones and kept going over budget, something Kojima (a noted perfectionist) has a long history of doing. While Kojima’s games are amazing, I can easily understand why a publisher wouldn’t want to work with him.

It’s crazy that he likes expensive actors in his games because all they do is spout endless mumbo jumbo that barely has anything to do with anything. I’m sure he would save a lot of money using less expensive actors to say exhausting amounts of nonsense.
Gameplay in his games is usually good and unique which means I’m a huge fan.

Kojima is a fantastic game designer but a godawful writer. Unfortunately he insists on doing both.
