FourPacketsOfPeanuts@lemmy.world 8 hours agoExercise in someone not particularly fit is also likely to trigger a stress response and their appetite will overcompensate. Exercise is good but for fat loss is pointless unless eating is well under control.

Agree. Heck, even when I was more fit (also, younger) a good exercise session would often result in me eating more calories than needed.
