I don’t believe socialists are evil but I do believe a lot of their policies are. Even if the intention is good. I am a libertarian but not an anarchist so that means I do believe there is a role for governments. I think that’s an interesting start for a friendly conversation with anyone 🍻

I am a republican but my beliefs are not well aligned with the modern republican movement. I don’t care if someone is gay ,trans, etc. The social war is stupid to me. I believe in the right of a person to do what they want as long as they are not hurting others. All this social crap is a distraction from what we should be doing.

I don’t think most MAGA think gay or trans is a problem as well. The democrats pushed this agenda over the top and it was getting ridiculous. For me personally I just want to see DOGE succeed ] I don’t care about the rest. Too much bureaucrats and regulations. Glad the tarrifs are not implemented (for now) as everyone feared. It will be a wild ride, but tbh I really think it is needed. Whatever comes out of this will be better. Cleaning up needs to be done. Government spending is/was out of control.
Hope DOGE and Milei will be an example for the EU where bureaucracy and regulation is an even bigger problem.

Indeed - I even think a lot of Democrats will agree if you leave Trump out of the conversation. Most bureaucrats are Democrats but most Democrats are not bureaucrats.
