Ex Arm is pretty bad, but I am fairly certain it has more total animation frames. Honestly, why even waste the time with so many frames? Twinkle Nora Rock Me! proved peak didnt need all those extra frames, its just waiting for the cult classic revival it deserves.
Yeah but Twinkle Nora Rock Me! leaves me in way too much suspense while I’m watching it. Who should I be emotionally invested in? I can’t tell! With a proper show like Ex-Arm I know that the people who are rendered with janky-looking 3d animation are going to get those models reused in future episodes, whereas the people who are rendered in janky-looking 2d animation are clearly not long for this world.
