If Turkey got considered, why not them, right?
I mean… I’m turkish and I don’t fully agree or identify turkey itself as 100% european. No, not because of “ThE eUrOpEaN pArT oF iStAnBuL”, but because of the way our country and citizens behave. Countries further east have no hope.
Also, because of a theme I’ve mentioned several times : they’re claiming to be european for clout. If you’re trying to put yourself in the better clout group, and it’s doubtable, you should be trying to make the other group’s clout better instead of trying to jam yourself in where you are not fully represented.
