8k just doesn’t make sense. I can understand it as a monitor if it has some good upscaling capabilities. But yeah, 8k content just seems silly.

I had a lot of fun with it back then. I don’t think I ever beat it though.
It’s pretty interesting looking back on it and seeing how many of the gameplay mechanics went on to be in GTA 3.

I was never like that. I liked my things pristine. Which is why I never loaned things to others because they’d always forget to return them, or return them broken.

- Comment on Nintendo 64 "Reimagining" Analogue 3D Delayed to 2025, First Look Revealed | Tech Raptor 2 months ago:
Seems neat, but I just wish N64 games were worth the effort. Don’t get me wrong, I was a huge N64 fanboy back in the day. But looking back on it, it just didn’t hold up like PlayStation did. Aside from Nintendo’s first party games and a select few third party, there isn’t much id want to play on it.
I broke out my N64 earlier this year and got myself an upscaler and cleaned up my controllers. Played some games for a couple months and then got tired of em again.

It was, though the difference was how early that game came out and the volume of images it had. It was pretty huge!
The novelty died out quick though, as everyone else started prerendering stuff.
- Comment on I rented many games solely based on their covers, only to be mildly disappointed when I got home. 2 months ago:
There was a bunch of games that had really detailed graphics in the screenshots. Then you’d play them and realize they’re prerendered. A bunch of Saturn games were guilty of that.
