This is good to see, but I don’t think builders need to do the math on CPUs as much as they do on RAM and GPUs. Intel has no control that I can see over RAM, and only control their tiny corner that is the Arc market as far as GPUs go. The costs in those two places will likely be a more significant part of the math.

Previously you needed to install the Multi Account Container plugin to use them. Now, they’re native, if I understand… I still have the MAC plugin.

Not a whole lot on its face. But eventually, everything graphical and modern will be Wayland-first and it’ll be the expected native experience under the hood. There’s also the slight security bump of app isolation, less screen tearing without hacks, and better multi monitor support.

Doubtful. And for the same reason this ‘basically-a-one-liner’ is neat

Not everybody knows or cares what a one liner is. Noe everyone is a competent user. Some people just want to drag and drop. Some people come from the Mac world and want things to work that way. Some people don’t and still want it 🤷

Linux is pretty big these days.
