You could use it if you had another one with a female headphone jack. You could play your music to a speaker in another room if you have Ethernet in both rooms. Copper is copper.

People downvoting you are the same people who complain about clickbait. A good headline should give you a good idea about content of an article. I don’t have time to read 50 articles a day.

PC specs:
i5 7600 Nvidia Titan Xp (recently upgraded from RX 580, solidworks worked the same) 28GB RAM OpenSUSE Tumbleweed Virtualbox Virtualising Windows 10 SolidWorks 2018 (older versions worked fine too, i didn’t try new versions but i dont see why it wouldnt work)
Until recently i dual booted, theres not a big difference in performance.
I recommend putting both Linux and Windows on an SSD

Windows VM + SolidWorks for me, there is no other reasonable way unfortunately.

The main reason is that i have 2 different sets of bookmarks. I know there is probably a smarter way to do it but opening a different browser is simple enough, and i got used to it. Also I’m lazy to switch between college and personal gmail account, easier to just open the browser for the specific purpose. And my tabs will remain open on the college browser so i can continue the work.
I don’t really use bookmarks on my phone, so there i just have one browser.

i use 2 web browsers for 2 different purposes. One for college one for personal.
