Yeah it took me a few hours of research and plugin setup to get feature parity with Plex
- Comment on FFS Plex, the server is on my local network 1 week ago:
Genuinely Plex has become so obtrusive about NEW FEATURES, NOW WE HAVE THIS, USE THIS THUS WAY!!! and then also my libraries have somehow become even slower to load. I’ve been using jellyfin way more often

I feel like you could more easily make a flash drive in that shape of the same size lol, but yes you’re right
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
Depending on the amount of data you have that is entirely possible. At the least you could have a bootable drive with a specific image on it

Well the Japanese need to be more specific because they’re very different.
I can’t imaging how hard it is to Google specifically rat or specifically mice questions there lmao

Yeah if I try to read without focusing I mix up words often, I should probably get tested for dyslexia lol

You’re right, mixed up my terminology
- Comment on Framework unveils a second-generation Framework Laptop 16 with a swappable Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU, an industry first, shipping in November 2025 5 weeks ago:
Nvidia is really cagey about what the let vendors do with their gpus, they had one hot swappable concept years ago and it never went anywhere because they basically didn’t allow them to do anything with it. So this actually making it I to a product is crazy

- Comment on My petty gripe: forced software updates just make everything worse 1 month ago:
I’m on a Pixel 8 with lineageOS with microg and I LOVE it. Be prepared for some apps to be a little wonky, I had to install aurora store to download balatro because it said my phone wasn’t compatible from the official app store. I’ve had more issues because I’m also rooted though, so there will probably be less to deal with if you just use lineage. Not sure if it’s because it’s lineage OS or the root, but Authy doesn’t let me login, but I just use my password manager for 2fa now anyway so that’s fine.

Love the post but am I missing some English education? Whinge? Lol
- Comment on Meet the AI vegans: They are choosing to abstain from using artificial intelligence for environmental, ethical and personal reasons. Maybe they have a point 1 month ago:
How about we don’t call that being an AI vegan and just call it a model objection. That’s fucking ridiculous, that’s a term designed to make not using AI for that reason look bad and preachy.
- Comment on California slave labor: Jailed pre-trial detainees work for private firm—for nothing 1 month ago:
The US literally doesn’t function as it stands without slave labor. Slavery never stopped, we just do it to the incarcerated, and then changed our laws to rapidly increase the amount of people who are incarcerated. Oh look at that, the incarcerated population is predominantly minorities, wonder why that is.

- Comment on goodbye plex 2 months ago:
I use sonarr and radarr, they automatically structure the folder system, and you can also have the same issues with Plex. I had an issue where Plex would not no matter what detect the newest episode of a show and Jellyfin picked it up no problem

There’s plugins that can replace Plexamp
