I just bought new name brand tires from Amazon for $200 cheaper per tire than my local tire shop was selling them, and about 80 cheaper than other online stores that I checked. Plus free shipping.
Hate Amazon or not, they do still have good deals and free shipping for certain items is huge. Plus they ALWAYS have better selection than any local or big box store.

Hell no. I’m 29 with my own house, six-figure job, and 3 cars and I don’t feel like an adult lol. But also no kids nor desire to have kids will do that

- Comment on [What if scenario] What if all commercial institutions suddenly decided they no longer intend to acknowledge religious events such as Christmas? 1 year ago:
Disagree. Christians hate the fact that Christmas is so commercialised. Although they would probably still be mad anyways.
- Comment on [What if scenario] What if all commercial institutions suddenly decided they no longer intend to acknowledge religious events such as Christmas? 1 year ago:
To Christians, it very much is still a religious holiday and should be considered as such. As someone who thinks we should still do away with such holidays.

- Comment on Have you ever felt a imaginary switch click that changed the trajectory of your life? 1 year ago:
Yep. At 18 I was hard set on going to college for game design. About a week into classes, I just up and decided “wait, this isn’t the right thing right now”, dropped out and continued my day job for 3 years before going to another college for software development. It wasn’t really the plan, but thinking about it now, it was a good move to switch from game design to more generally software.
A couple months before graduating, I landed a solid job on the other side of the country (US), finally moved out on my own and grew my career. Now I’m in the same field but making six figures, married, own a house, and fun hobby cars.
- Comment on Do younger people go home earlier now? Or go out less? Is it since COVID? 1 year ago:
I’m 29. Wife and I go out for food 4 times a week. Also to do things to get out of the house. But, I make software engineer money and we live in a relatively small city in Wisconsin. I bought my house at 27 and own a sports car.
I know shit is rough for a lot of people and inflation is nuts. I don’t take my career for granted.
