if I was better at writing I'd have wrote about this years ago when it first started to bother me, you can't blame someone for being angry at poor design choices which include a button that probably only works when you click "send crash report" and lies to you the rest of the time.

Frankly I just came here expecting someone to say "this is expected behaviour and we aren't changing it" but at least my frustrations are known.

I've been getting that popup for years and every single time I tick the "Don't ask again" checkbox then close the popup, it doesn't matter if a real crash actually occurs or if its one of these fake crashes I've been experiencing recently, it happens on both vivaldi stable and vivaldi nightly on multiple computers covering basically all of the versions released in those years, it is absolutely a design choice to make it impossible to opt out of submitting crash reports and not having that popup come up every single time a crash is detected.

I appreciate you trying to make me look thick but I stated I DON'T want to share crash reports, there's only one setting related to crashes and that is "share crash reports by default"
