So good! I love that I’ve got a ton of time in the game and there are still so many secrets and things I don’t know.

Read the title of this post and immediately thought Noita. It’s such a fantastic game both stock and modded and even after 100 hours in it, I’m far from an expert.
You definitely will feel like a badass wizard.

This however is just grandstanding and doesn’t make anyone safer.
- Comment on What's the least suspicious way to get OTC meds through airport security? 3 months ago:
This is the right answer. It’s worth noting I traveled domestically and internationally quite a bit lately and I carry prescribed and controlled meds loose in a container. I carry maybe 6 pills total and no one has ever cared or asked about them.

100% some adult in that house used that exact phrase, probably multiple times.

Look at those ergonomics on that controller. I never owned a Saturn, but is that thing comfortable to hold?

Like I get it, it’s scary and I don’t want them to have my data, but my picture is being taken ALL the time basically everywhere I go. Is putting my foot down for this specific type really making a difference?

I was expecting some reflection or some larger message or lesson the author learned. Nah, he drank a lot of Red Bulls, got predictably sick, and documented it. I appreciated reading it though. I kinda want a Red Bull now…

Even beyond renting, installing a wifi camera is SO much cheaper than running Ethernet all over your house. And if you need it run through an external wall? Even more money.

Maybe some, maybe even most, but as a blanket statement, no.
I buy games and consoles but haven’t bought an Ubisoft or EA title in a decade. My own personal little boycott against bullshit required launchers may not matter, but I am consistent. I suspect others do the same as well and in aggregate, it might have an impact.

Big fan of this solution. Switch emulation is also pretty great on the steam deck and gets rid of most of the modern grossness (always on, obtrusive DRM, etc) that comes with playing on they physical device.

Streaming data is expensive, but when you’re vertically integrated to the point Google is, it starts to get significantly cheaper. I’ve been paying creators directly through Patreon for literal years now, and I’ve said before I’d be happy to pay for my usage on Google (including a markup), but paying a flat fee and giving a handful of creators a watch a few cents while Google keeps the lion’s share isn’t good enough for me.

- Comment on Toys, spices, sewing machines: the items Israel banned from entering Gaza 4 months ago:
Awesome. Definitely logical and not at all intended to enhance suffering.
Other articles that Israel has denied include “dates, sleeping bags, medicines to treat cancer, water purification tablets and maternity kits”, according to the report. Dates could be a lifeline to a starving a population, but they were blocked from entering Gaza because, sources told CNN, the seeds made dates look suspicious in X-ray inspection images. Sleeping bags were denied “because they were the color green”, a humanitarian official told CNN, “and green means military and according to the 2008 list, military is dual use”. What began as a deliberate policy to bring Gaza’s economy grinding to a standstill is now being used to bring its civilian population to its knees.

I was curious so I removed all the text of this image and asked ChatGPT 4o to tell me as much about the image as it could.
The image depicts a man giving mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to a small animal, likely a dog. This is a procedure used to provide emergency breathing support to animals that are not breathing on their own. The man is holding the dog’s mouth open and blowing air into its lungs. Another person is supporting the dog’s body. This technique is part of animal first aid and can be critical in life-saving situations.
