It’s now Sunday and the number only “jumped” with 1000 players from release to now.
I honestly thought it would be more. But it looks like it isn’t gonna cross the 20.000 mark.

As I said, there’s bound to be other opinions.

I don’t think anyone really celebrates layoffs at a studio because they didn’t like a game they made.
I think it’s mostly reserved for when Devs or CMs have come out of the woodwork to shit on their own potential audience. A response to overconfidence and disregard of the customer. Because there’s definitely been some of that as of late.
Ofcause there bound to be other opinions, but I think this is the overall gist of the current situation.

We’ll no doubt see that number jump a bit over the weekend, but atm it’s anyones guess if it will do well or not.
So I wouldn’t crack any party poppers just yet.

I’ve only completed the first Pillars game and it’s an ok game.
A bit linear for a crpg in my opinion, but the story is pretty good. Like, you only really have a couple of choices that have any consequenses.
So not top tier crpg, but ok. But that’s just my unsolicited two cents.
- Comment on Avowed Launches As Steam's # 1Top Seller In The US And Worldwide 2 weeks ago:
There’s been quite a few titles that launched as “#1 Seller” that underperformed lately.
So yeah, I’ll happily dispute this as a sign of success.

It’s the primary demographic. Might as well just close the site.
- Comment on Fallout 1 and 2 (and Tactics) are currently free-to-keep from the Epic Games Store 6 months ago:
I’d recommend these games to anyone that likes CRPGs or the Post-Apoc setting.
Would however also recommend getting it from, pretty much, any other storefront.
- Comment on Valve are still taking SteamOS beyond the Steam Deck, though dual booting is a ways off 6 months ago:
People have done wierder stuff just out if curiosity.
I’m just thinking that if someone asked Valve about it, they probably have something in mind. Even if it is just dual-booting with Windows.
- Comment on Valve are still taking SteamOS beyond the Steam Deck, though dual booting is a ways off 6 months ago:
People have preferences. And I don’t think we’ve seen the last generation of hand-held or stationary consoles.
But as I said, I don’t own either. So I’m just throwing “maybes” around to your question.
Regardless, I can understand the intrigue of tinkering. Doing it, just for the sake of doing it.
Plus, you never know what possibilities it might open up for whatever tech the future might bring.

What about dual-booting a switch? Having to both Nintendo and Steam library on the same device.
I don’t know about Consoles, but a neat thought would could be dual-booting a Playstation.
I don’t use any of the above, just thinking out loud that there’s other stuff that could do with a dual-boot option than a Windows machine.
- Comment on Denmark | World’s first carbon tax on livestock will cost farmers $100 per cow 8 months ago:
Cows were already on their way out. Being a Dairy Farmer in DK pays miserably and was already taxed to hell and back.
This is unlikely to make a big difference other than further pissing off a bunch of people.

I’m not calling anyone a coward.
I’m just less sure it’s the end of anything.

“If I was him, I’d keep my head down and try to get to know my kids.”
Wouldn’t that just mean that the threats worked? The corrupt won?
I mean, the point of whistleblowing is to do so in spite of the threat of punishment.
- Comment on Sea Of Thieves Was The Most Downloaded PlayStation 5 Game In May 8 months ago:
I don’t understand when they shorten the time in which they calculate sales numbers to such small periods.
I get year, and even half-year. But it gets a bit weird with months and weeks.
It’s doesn’t seem like a good indicator of a game’s popularity. A bit too forced.

I doubt anyone wants the people of Gaza to be under thumb of a religious fundamentalist regime.
And I don’t think anyone wants them to get murdered by Israel either.
Generally I’d say those are two things I wouldn’t want for anyone.

Titles will do that. Even the self imposed, like ‘musician’. The music scene is filled to the brim with undeserved self importance.
It makes sense that the science community is the same way.

Nah, it’s just media doing what media does.
Celebrities generate more clicks. That’s all.
I have no doubt Greta thinks she’s helping by continuously trying to martyr herself.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about going as green as possible. I just don’t see her shenanigans as helpful.
