I used the recent Steam sale to grab Civ 5 from recommendations here!
You all were right. It’s great! I definitely like it more than Civ 6.

The maternity hospitals they built in the 19th century were often dubbed “Houses of Death” because of the increase in maternal and infant deaths due to to those gentlemanly doctors and their refusal to listen to midwives.
Such a fascinating chapter of history!!

I have ADHD, it’s difficult to stop what I’m doing and pay attention to something that I didn’t intend to do.
There’s a social pressure to answering a phone call that a text doesn’t quite have.
I wasn’t arguing with you. I was just answering your question, but clearly people have taken offense to that.

I am incredibly excited for the Switch 2 remake. My kiddo can experience it around the same age I did originally!

GTA V - when my wife and I first got a place together, we used to play this game together (pass the controller back and forth) after work every night. We still occasionally pull it out to play together, and I wouldn’t want to put a stop to that
You inspired me to see if my partner would want to share playing GTA 6 in this way. That sounds fun! Thanks :)

Because phone calls are more intrusive. I have to stop what I’m doing to properly pay attention and I have to be in a place where I can speak out loud.

-Fable 2 -Fable 3 -Stardew Valley -Sims 2 -Sims 4 -Diablo 3 -Divinity: Original Sin 2 -Civilization 5 -Pokemon (any of the original GameBoy versions) -Fire Emblem: Awakening
Honestly I’d be happy as a clam with just these. I’m not an adventurous gamer and I like what I like, but all of these have great re-playability.
