Yes bro, they were laughing at the mod in the middle of the segment. It’s like you could see in their eyes that this was a slam dunk from the first few seconds

The sub literally died overnight. Crazy to witness in real time. A lot of people had/have legitimate grievances about how work and labor are handled in the US and this was during and immediately after COVID lockdowns. One basement dwelling, stereotypical reddit mod delegitimized an entire movement with a single interview on Fox “news”.
No one knew they had been contacted and clearly they had no media training; I’m talking clearly unbathed, wearing dirty clothes, blurry camera/video, and spinning in their chair while talking like a school child. To say it was bad is an understatement.
Support fractured and multiple subreddits were formed to distance themselves from /r/antiwork. It was actually sad to see. There was like a week or two of fighting on reddit about it. Shit like that makes you realize how effective counter-intelligence programs are. All you need is one weak link and a moment of opportunity

This sounds like fucking hell, I can’t see a way this works without having to work 7 days a week or being hobo-sexual
Listen I love dogs, but this is some peasant type shit. 2 suit cases being everything you own? Yeah, I’d like to practice nonattachment to this level, but I doubt you’re finding nirvana doing this. There’s no way this is done outside a major metro.

That’s what I’m saying. We tried that whole jail shit and things got fucky. We had/have enough evidence to get his contacts. Jeffrey Epstein Did Not Kill Himself.

I’m fine with an easy out.
I don’t need them to think about their actions. I don’t need them to stew and marinate in their guilt I certainly don’t need them to have avenues to still exert influence.
They need to die, anything else is a distraction.

I saw my naivete during the George Floyd protests when state police came to my city with blacked out badges and punisher masks.
They are HEAVILY armed.
It’s a nice sentiment for garden tools but you need actual firearms. Regrettably, I’ve yet to go to a major protest since trump has been in office. Somewhat a relief since we know now they are using footage to put protesters in terroist databases. If you aren’t going to protests even partially in black bloc you are ill prepared. If you aren’t arming yourself you are ill equipped.
I hope this ends, yet I have zero faith in peaceful protests to stop a fascist regime. I’m not saying don’t protest, I am explicitly saying that force must be met in kind. When winter ends I anticipate things escalating and heating up a lot more.

Anything less than death is far too little for these sick fucks.
Swift and quickly, this needs to end and be left in the past.

When I saw people’s already processed orders getting cancelled with no reason other than to price gouge I was infuriated.
The level of greed in this world sickens me.

I’m kicking myself so hard right now. I went in and upgraded my PC when word of tarrifs were coming back in 2024 but decided to chill on ram because the prices were still low and I felt I had enough. I have 16gb of DDR5 and my rig feels like it’s chugging with newer software.
I should’ve bit the bullet and future proofed with a 64gb set up. My ass decided to buy a house instead 😮💨

The user interactionetrics they’ve added have been interesting tho. Millions of south and SE Asians are flocking to reddit.
It’s been wild to watch how the site has grown over the past 15 years for me. Back durning trump’s first term I deleted my account and alts due to paranoia. I’m starting to think I should do the same for newer accounts or abandon the site entirely; hense my presence here.
I heard murmurs about Lemmy when the API shit was going down a few years ago but it was so small back then the switch didn’t really make sense for me. Now that the paranoia is back I don’t feel as comfortable/safe commenting on reddit anymore
- Comment on YSK that radishes are fucking amazing. They improve heart health and are full of Sulforaphene, a powerful anti-cancer substance. They contain almost no calories 5 weeks ago:
As someone who tries desperately to bulk, fitness/health marketing is so frustrating.
I need calories, these small portion minimal fat and calorie bull shit foods low-key piss me off.
