The issue is that, UBI is a contested subject. It is the answer to what's happening with automation.
And nobody is touching it but lets continue giving these few people all the money in the world and little leftover for everyone to fight over.
- Comment on [deleted] 2 weeks ago:
That is so right up there with some of the scummiest things CEOs have ever said.
The Heinz CEO tells us to "get used to it" about inflation.
And then Nestle over there, saying about how water is not a human right.
These rich fuckheads totally operate on a different world than our own.
- Comment on Do you think there would eventually be technology to delete/replace memories (like the *Men In Black* device). How much do you fear such technology? (like misuse by governments/criminals) 2 weeks ago:
We don't need technology for that when we've got the drugs that'll do it more efficiently.

- Comment on If Microsoft ended Windows 10 support, why is it still getting updates like every other day? 2 weeks ago:
Did you get something that is along the lines of Microsoft saying you can extend one year of support? Because I remember getting that before I reinstalled my windows, like it was backed to October 2026 or something.
- Comment on If Microsoft ended Windows 10 support, why is it still getting updates like every other day? 2 weeks ago:
No. Supporting the other comments, the most you can do is reschedule them over and over. So you're wasting time just pushing back the dates but you will forget one day and they'll happen when you least expect it.
There is no way to turn them off and that is intent by design.
- Comment on When you wake up, how long does it take for your brain's "OS" to "resume from hibernation"? 2 weeks ago:
Until afternoon or evening.
Coffee and not even a monster java in the morning is enough. I really do take that long to warm up. This is why I work night shifts.

I don't get the appeal, really. It's just a lego-looking ripoff where the arms are fucking huge and everything. The things that get chosen to be popular, says a lot about people's collective tastes sometimes.
- Comment on GameStop workers say its trade anything day will be a huge mess 2 weeks ago:
It was a dumb idea from the beginning, trying to be an electronics pawn shop. Only the trade-ins are just as worthless as the game ones were.

For a large part, yes. It's just fuel to the fires of pointless arguments.
I'm sure development studios and individuals have a sense of pride and accomplishment in receiving any award for their work. But, even then, there's going to be volumes of people who're going to always feel like their favorites were snuffed for reasons not known to us and it just makes more arguments than actual discussions.

You mean, argue about them? Because I don't see a lot of good conversations regarding some video games unless it is a hivemind or a circlejerk. It must be on some universally agreed upon ruling before engaging some video game discussions, if not, then bickering or pelting virtual stones at the different thinker with opinions that goes against said hivemind.
- Comment on Roblox to block children from talking to adult strangers after string of lawsuits 2 weeks ago:
I wouldn't be complaining about this, except I am because Roblox is operated by pedos.
Something extreme measures such as face recognition has to be taken to ensure problems like this won't happen again. However, though, pedophiles having access to data storage containing such verifications can go so wrong on so many levels.
So heres what they should do:
Fire and prosecute all of the pedos.
Replace the pedos with trustworthy people to operate Roblox.
Then go through verifying. - Comment on Why do some people make such a big deal over ages of someone's account on here? 2 weeks ago:
You misspelled 'we' and therefore you're A.I. You must be banned too. /s
- Comment on Why do some people make such a big deal over ages of someone's account on here? 2 weeks ago:
Which are easy to spot and I get that.
But not everyone is like that and it is quite dumb to assume everyone is like that like I have seen others do. Someone some other person doesn't like, then they just say "oh that's a bot, um, ban them because their account is new."
You saw this shit all the time on Reddit. I mean the behavior can be noticeable from a user who just joined and wants to contribute and talk to those just coming back to repeat everything that got them removed in the first place.

Why are we still caring about these stupid game award shows when it's clear that they're just padded with commercialism and favoritism?
I hate these awards and I hate the ones Valve hosts on their Steam platform. They are all just utterly meaningless. Just nothing but ways to get 'gamurrrs' to stir up pointless arguments about subjective things for clout.

Wouldn't put it past them to try.
The recording industry loves making money off of artists who are long dead. Reminds me of that opening to Ministry's Ghouldiggers, where the singer is talking about how some artists are being sold off in pieces. Kurt Cobain. Janis Joplin. So many more.

There's been attempts for AI-like performances, just infantile starts. Like the one time there was a Tupac concert and it was just a digitized version of himself. That's probably what the future entails, but AI looking to improve it.

God, screw this stupid roadblock of a nuisance. I have to go through this piece of shit everytime I need to log-in to my bank account's app. Sometimes it'd even fail and I won't go through. Even if I did go through, I have to double-verify anyways! I'm so over this stupid era of verifying yourself multiple times.

I see it as 25/75.
25% you can say that the reason capitalism is getting away with more than it should, is because consumers are buying at the ridiculous prices.
75% though, is capitalism deceiving and scheming the ways possible to get people to bite.

Science Fiction authors from the 40s, 50s and 60s toyed with many scenarios and theories about where technology would wind up. Half of them were right, half of them were wrong. I think it'd be a dumb thing to say what you quoted.

Well see that's where you're wrong right there and know it.
There is virtually no difference. We don't know if there is for certain, without a doubt, that there is a God if which we will ever see after we die or anything the scriptures and bible itself tells true. Millions to billions of people have died over this, most of which was slaughter and we aren't anywhere closer to the truth, if there is any.
How many people can you account have killed or done things in the name of mythical creatures? Not many and there isn't a reason to and people to an extent, may acknowledge that there might not be a mythical creature but why not believe in it. While those who're religious, continue living in denial, making radio and TV stations about it, letting their beliefs even dictate the course of law and justice to country while just not admitting that it could be the same grounds.
Done with you.
