Since users are proud to accept and defend their abuse, they should get more of it.
Nothing will change until useful idiots recognize their contributions to the problem.
- Comment on iCarly was a streamer before streaming was even really a thing. 2 weeks ago:
The internet has been getting worse since phone users came online and it will continue to get worse as more of them join.
The only way to have some semblance of quality is to ignore what the vast majority of people on the internet are paying attention to.
- Comment on iCarly was a streamer before streaming was even really a thing. 2 weeks ago:
In 2007, a lot of internet connections couldn’t keep up with live streaming.
Yeah, of course this stuff was around, but it didn’t really mean much if most people couldn’t partake.
Same thing goes for the internet. It’s been around for decades but only in the past 15 years ago did most people get online.

The only way to get neo-liberals to care about being taken advantage of by businesses is to make it not about money.

- Comment on Apple Reportedly Moving Ahead With Ads in Maps App 2 weeks ago:
Apple should’ve never created a team that sold ads on their platforms.
Why not? If stupid users are willing to accept it, the business is obligated to do it.
It’s the world we’ve built for ourselves.

Yep.
We can shit on Jobs all we want, but he had visionary ideals and Timmy is just another business cuck.
No sympathy for modern apple users. They all have more money than sense and deserve to be taken advantage of accordingly.

I’m genuinely surprised they don’t put ads on things like hospital bills.
It’s all about maximizing profits off of people’s low standards.
- Comment on 'Emulating the Impossible' - my interview with a developer of RPCS3 2 weeks ago:
I’ve used RPCS3 a bit, and it’s very impressive what they’ve made.
Some games don’t work, but it’s great when there are those that do.
I have no doubt that this emulator will be on par with the greats one day and we can all have a PS3 inside our computer.

- Comment on Why Are Some Democrats Backing MAGA's Anti-LGBTQ+ Censorship? 3 weeks ago:
This is what we care about?
Why are so many democrats prioritizing a culture war over the class war?
- Comment on The Outer Worlds 2 | Review Thread 3 weeks ago:
They have some really bad writers on their team that focus more on telling players what they want instead of giving them what they want.

I don’t care what EULAs or the law says.

Superheroes in general are boring and for manchildren.
- Comment on How AI and Wikipedia have sent vulnerable languages into a doom spiral 3 weeks ago:
I don’t view language as a cultural heritage thing, just a communication protocol.
Well, you’re wrong.

One of the good things about emulating is not having to manage a bunch of discs.
