You’re not wrong, but, they’d look worse without them. Lol “objectively” after a completely subjective statement though

Im thinking about wanting to see more silly thoughts not be reminded of the same shit I see every day in every other community here and on every social media platform/irl conversation.
- Comment on [deleted] 3 days ago:
Phrased poorly, really just mean posting political shit in an inherently silly showerthoughts community. Its in every other instance in every other community all the time, cant shower thoughts just be goofy?
- Comment on [deleted] 3 days ago:
Think about whatever you want, I just get bummed when showerthoughts is used to push politics instead of silly shit you think of in the shower.

I’d love to see someone do the math, I’d bet one dude could bail out every eligible person in the US. Probably wouldn’t even have to be Musk/Bezos/Gates.

Talking to people and hearing their stories and experiences has no value to you?

That’s my exact point, not everything has an objective correct answer, something Google is only able to provide. Creating a sufficient answer is based on the subjective experience one gains or is able to glean from others.

When someone is teaching you to cook a roux by example, they will have you smell it as the cooking progresses. They’ll explain the “nutty” smell and how it evolves but you’ll never really recognize the right smell without engaging in the experience with someone guiding you through it. As for sex, it means different things to different people. Especially when considering what X person likes vs what Y person likes. Google wont tell you different things you should try or how to handle a partner into something that you may not be. You understand how to please people based on experience and communication with that person. Then going forward you have the experience and context to know what may feel interesting.
