My current house is much more rural than any I’ve occupied before. Besides bugs, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a wild animal in a residence; however, now not only have I seen quite a few rodents but, thanks to my one cat who hunts, I’ve seen the brain of one. What joy!

Other than the “roguelike” part, a lot of this sounds like I Wanna Be the Guy.

Don’t forget carrots.

I’m a gross dude who doesn’t take good care of my health. I didn’t even really know what flossing was for most of my life. The first time I ever went to a dentist was when a molar crumbled in the middle of a BLT while I was at work during my late twenties. So maybe don’t take my dental advice …
… But I use bamboo floss picks repeatedly so long as they are intact, haven’t fallen anywhere contaminated, and have no visible debris on them. Makes me feel a lot less wasteful.

Maybe you should watch the Mel Gibson instructional video.

Thanks! Some of my friends are fans of it but I haven’t had time to give it a shot yet.

If Ea-Nasir were blind it might explain some things.
- Comment on A server and a web server are different things ? 2 months ago:
“Server” is a colloquialism. As used in casual speech, it’s a system that serves something. If you can access anything the system offers remotely, it’s serving to you and therefore is a server.
Long before I really got into IT, my mom’s laptop had an internet connection it shared. That was a server.
After that but before I setup my first Linux system, my brother and I were sharing files from our desktops. We were both servers (and clients).
A server is just something that serves something.
