Oh I’m not knocking it, I thought it was a good movie. Hell I should watch it again sometime.
Will Smith has that particular balance between a huge blockbuster story but bringing it with his particular comedy factor. I don’t like him as much in serious tone stuff. In that regard he probably made the right choice with the Matrix.

Nah sure, giant mecha-spider in the Wild West is a more straightforward I guess.
(Speaking of which Kevin Smith did a ride of a story about a superman movie that never got made, which ties into that very same Mecha-spider)

Apple has done a fantastic job surrounding their privacy reputation. Problem is, they absolutely bent the knee and kissed the ring.
The only way out is either going with custom roms on an android or a Linux phone, … anything along those lines (you know, IT stuff that let’s you actually do stuff). Or don’t participate.

Saving the children vs creating a dystopia where your phone tells you what to do, what to think,…
Now add a few years, were running out of food and water, the planet is on fire. Guess who’s getting acces? Only people with a phone that says they’ve been good obedient peons who have no opinions of their own.
Take a wild guess which is of more importance to the big club? They’ve already proven they’re PERFECTLY ok working with pedofiles. Hell, a lot of them ARE the pedofiles.

Kid: Always analysed things pretty neutral and not afraid to question myself.
20’s-30’s (in a xtian cult): everyone is the worst all the time but Jesus …(blablablabla)
Meanwhile internally: IM GONNA DIE AND BURN FOREVER!!! FFFFUUU……
40’s (10 years an atheist now): I’m ok. I may not have been perfect so far and I’ll never be. But that in itself is how it is and it should be. I live as loving and compassionate as I can and that’s all I can expect from myself and others.

- Comment on Ad companies are the ones destroying civilization 2 weeks ago:
Oh yes, I hadn’t thought about that! Having something on your liver is an expression that’s native to the Dutch language (afaik).
Meaning something that’s annoying, bothering you, gnawing at your conscience, pissing you off,…
- Comment on Ad companies are the ones destroying civilization 2 weeks ago:
I was thinking about this earlier today.
It’s amazing to me that in my lifetime, ads went from a thing that companies got to do as an extra once they had succes all the way to a thing that runs everything everywhere.
Nowadays if you don’t have ads in some form abusing the algorithm (which is in itself designed to be abused) then you get nowhere.

Rogan: so eaaauhm, yeah that’s definitely a thing huh? But you know all progress must go uphill without breaking a few eggs…right?
Musk: makes that stupid nazi face where he’s smoking weed So we’re going to make Grok a subscription model that watches you sleep in your car as we plug you into the bio battery of your Tesla. Then your mind gets used to train AI models as your driving. But you know, I’m expecting that to work last month, give or take a year or 10.
Rogan: Pluggin in huh? How’s that work?
Musk: Either a port in the back of your arm or an arm up your back, not sure yet.
Rogan: Wow, … so anyway wanna do some dmt?
We can plug it in if you want.
