That’s good to know! Maybe I’ll swing by for an off season weekend to give it another chance!

My main memories are just that everything was super crowded. The kids there were super aggressive types and there was a large amount of over drinking with the adults. Maybe it has changed, but I am more of a relax at the beach sorta person, not the 10,000 things at once type.

Someone needing to be constantly monitored to be effective isn’t a different way of doing something, it is acting like a child.

Sometimes flying is honestly cheaper, but with a family it does mean you can’t bring as much stuff, which can end up costing more. Myrtle Beach is where my family went when I was a kid and it made me think I just hated the beach.

Literally, any small beach town in Florida is better. Ft Myers is dirt cheap.

Not when these losers are trying to make work from home look bad. I’m honestly betting it’s some middle management shill.

I have worked from home for four years as well. Because I have self control, it has been amazing. It sounds like you need a babysitter, not a job.

I got banned for implying someone should give him a call. Reddit can lick my taint, it’s not even worth making another account, I can talk to AI bots anywhere these days!

100%. Talk as much shit as you want about the left but bring up Trump, Russia or Israel and get instantly banned.

Fuck reddit, it’s all fucking bots and Russians at this point.

That means I’ve roughly 800 pages left to scroll before I can bring this journey to a close.

It’s perhaps the greatest tragedy of my lifetime, I’m truly not exaggerating. We went from the free sharing of the majority of human knowledge to forcing people to sell their souls for YouTube money.

Missing the Internet of my youth makes me feel older than almost anything else.

I honestly think that the whole internet is in decline.
