Well, it looks like someone did an interview with a medieval historian about Manor Lords.
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 6 days ago:
Started playing Runescape: Dragonwilds with a couple friends and it’s such a nice game. It’s really pretty, has a great soundtrack, and game feels like a blend of Vahiem and Enshrouded, but based in the Runescape world.
My favorite part if the game is that you learn spells that help you do everything from mining ores and chopping trees, to repairing all your equipment and armor. It’s the first survival game I’ve played that really integrates magic into all aspects of the survival mechanics, which completely eliminates that grindy feel a lot of survival games have.
The build system is one of the best I’ve seen, with large, medium (half size), and small (quarter size) pieces, full clipping, vertical shifting, and a advanced snapping system that feels a lot like Valhiem, but even better.
My only negative comment about the game is it’s very much a beta that still needs some optimization.

Oh interesting. I only knew part of the back story of Anthem apparently. Thanks for sharing.
- Comment on 1 week ago:
To Bioware’s credit, Anthem was a completely different game 18 months before release and EA came in and forced an entirely new concept, story and title on them.
I would be at least curious to see what Bioware would have done with the IP without EA flipping the table on them.

Sony is a true pioneer at inventing new reasons to not buy their shit.

Yup. Original Ark has huge, super bloated maps made on Unreal 4, with many clipped terrain layers and hidden objects.

I banked with a federally insured credit union that is free, does not have overdraft fees and have never had a single problem making any kind of payment. Yes, not every credit union does that, but that’s why you research before using a financial institution.
a credit union that includes all that stuff for free.
Try reading before reacting.
- Comment on 5 weeks ago:
If original Ark was over 800GB installed, and Ark Survival Evolved in over 500GB, does this mean Ark 2 might be under 300GB?
I’m constantly impressed by how absolutely shit Wildcard is at planning and executing games.
- Comment on 5 weeks ago:
That was the Unreal 5 remaster/cash grab from Wildcard.
- Comment on It sure is, babe! 5 weeks ago:
No, it’s just a stupidity tax for not using a credit union that includes all that stuff for free.

That’s a huge leap to assume GPS blocking was also blanketing other 2 way satellite communication frequencies.

You can disable the modem on new Toyotas and they run fine. The dealership will bitch and moan but they can be disabled.

- Comment on Valve confirm the Steam Machine will be priced like a PC with similar specs, rather than a console 2 months ago:
I play a lot of games and it’s definitely of interest; if I can buy a powerful, compact machine that can play everything for less than the cost of a modern 12gb+ GPU, I’m sold.

Not Colossal Order any more. Article is about CO parting ways from CS2 and Paradox.

- Comment on 9 months after its 1.0 launch flopped, an indie dev just learned that Steam never emailed the 130,000 people who wishlisted its game 4 months ago:
If we’re going to just random spout unsupported opinions based on our personal preferences, that 24 visibility boost is completely useless, because most days I open Steam and go to my library without even looking at the store.

That’s some nice fact cherry picking, and it ignores Tesla’s ongoing campaign to hide and obfuscate their crash records from the NHTSA and the public.

Dune 2000 was amazing, but this is pretty good too. I was ready to hate it, but a friend convinced me to try it with them and its been immensely fun so far.
