- Comment on "We will not force it": The Blood of Dawnwalker's sequel might drop the timer mechanics, says director, but I hope they stick around 2 weeks ago:
The timer mechanic is a big part of what makes the game unique. Respect to anyone who likes or dislikes it, but if they drop it, I hope it’s because it genuinely servesbthe gameplay they’re trying to build, not because they felt pressured to.
- Comment on Active Matter developers put up an incredibly distasteful AI notice on Steam 2 weeks ago:
The “joke” is the “cultural appropriation” bit, which is either…
A) A shitty joke making fun of cultural appropriation as a thing to get mad about, or…
B) An attempt to sound “politically correct” by someone who has no fucking clue what “culturual appropriation” means (hint: you have to have a culture for it to be appropriated).
Both make them look like assholes.
- Comment on What anime is basically this for you? 1 month ago:
Demon Slayer. Gorgeous animation, with a middle-of-the-road story and middle-of-the road writing, that occasionally has some really great moments.
- Comment on [Discussion] What are your comfort anime? 1 month ago:
I was thinking about saying Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, cause I still rewatch it every year or two, but thinking about what I watch for COMFORT? Like, it’s my comfy thing to put on in the background, way too often? Dragonball Z: Abridged.
- Comment on Help Fixing my Dishwasher -- It won't drain and is stop on sanitize mode 1 month ago:
The thing I learned when I had dishwasher issues was to always start with the manual. You’ll probably be surprised with how much info is in the manual.
The Samsung dishwasher I had issues with had 50+ pages worth of diagnostics and repair instructions, including detailed meanings for every unique error code that can occur, and instructions for putting the whole unit into a test mode, where you can force each motor to run independently, run test routines for sensors, etc. Gave me everything I could want for DIY repairs.
Can’t say it’s always this nice, of course, but this adivce has served me well for other appliances since.

And then I get to watch Abridged lol.
Abridged is just legit better than the original. Not even close.

Kindly place that idea back where you found it.
I ABSOLUTELY love this one. Definitely stealing it.
- Comment on Anyone have one or two anime that they watched and were surprised it wasn’t more popular? 3 months ago:
Children of the Whales, also on Netflix. Pretty sure it flopped, cause it was years ago, and I haven’t seen a second season.

Not Makoto, Sadayo Kawakami. Still Persona 5.
