Yes, accepting AI would lead to a lot of slop, but what annoys me is that AI was trained on the work of a lot if people with no credit given. It is different than a human mimicking another’s work.

• Les Misérables Manga

There is more, just look for novels adapted into manga.

Also note that some are for adults, so you would need to check them.

Just watched 7 episodes then realized it has a manga. Most people seem to prefer the manga.
